Mandatory Medical Insurance Requirement

As a Stanford appointed postdoc you are required to maintain comprehensive medical coverage that is compliant  with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and other Stanford requirements for the duration of your appointment, including during an approved leave of absence. This policy refers to all Stanford appointed postdocs, regardless of visa status.

If you currently have a comprehensive medical plan through a spouse's/partner's employer, you may request to waive medical insurance offered to you through the Postdoctoral Scholar Benefits Program.
