The health premium payment process is an automatic direct debit from your personal checking or savings account.
You will need to have your bank account information, routing and account numbers, available in order to submit any enrollment into benefits that require a payment from you. If you need help in identifying these two numbers, please review this document.
On the 22nd of each month, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) will automatically deduct the cost of your health premiums from your bank account. At the time of the first deduction, OPA will collect payment for any retroactive amount due. Additionally, if the 22nd falls on a weekend or a holiday, the funds will be debited the previous business day. Please note that the actual date of deduction may differ depending on your banking institution.
Banking information report is processed on the 16th of each month. Complete updates/changes to your banking information on or before the 15th of the month for changes to take effect.
We cannot accept cash, checks, or credit or debit cards for payment of premiums.
