Postdoc Legal Notices

This Summary Annual Report is being provided to you in accordance with federal law and you are not required to take any action.

The federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides eligible postdocs with 12 work weeks of unpaid, job protected leave in a defined 12-month period for specified family and medical reasons. Effective January 1st, 2015, Stanford is moving to a “rolling” backwards calculation method (the “Rolling Backwards Method”). Currently Stanford has a “Calendar Method,” which means that the 12-month period runs from January 1st to December 31st.
